Advanced Standing Transfer Admission

Transfer Eligibility Guidelines

Applicants must be transferring from an accredited an international school listed with the World Directory of Medical Schools and have earned their credits within the time frame that as eligible to apply for certification (see Sponsor Notes section of the medical school on the WDOMS website).

Applicants may not have been out of school for more than one year at the time of application (documented medical leave-of- absence may waive this requirement).

Credits will not be given for any core or elective clerkships or rotations completed while enrolled in another medical school.

Transfer students must submit a complete application along with their transcripts from their current or previous medical school, along with their undergraduate /graduate transcripts, letters of recommendation and a no objection letter.

Applications will not be reviewed prior to the receipt of all documents.
