Admission Process

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

First Semester Admission

Once we receive your completed application form, your details are entered into our student database. After submitting all required documents and the non-refundable application fee, we create your Student Information and Study Center account and provide you with a university email address.
Your application is then reviewed, and if necessary, the Immigration Office conducts a preliminary background check for students planning to travel to Curaçao. If your documents are in order, your motivation is compelling, and no issues arise from the background check, you will receive a Confirmation of Provisional Admittance.

Proof of Creditworthiness

Before issuing a final Confirmation of Admittance, you (or your legal guardian/sponsor) must provide proof of financial stability. Acceptable documents include:

  • A recent bank statement or
  • A statement from a recognized financial institution.

If tuition payments will be handled by a guardian, sponsor, or representative, they must also provide a copy of their valid passport.

Seat Deposit

After submitting proof of creditworthiness, a $500 USD deposit is required to secure your seat. Upon receiving this deposit, we will send you the final Confirmation of Admittance.

Immigration Process

We will submit your legal documents to the Curaçao Immigration Office to process your student visa application. This process may take up to three months, and associated costs will be charged directly to you.

Student Visa Requirements

To obtain a student visa, you must provide:

  • Proof of payment for the Immigration Processing Fee.
  • Original, signed Immigration Application Form.
  • Confirmation of Admittance from the university (sent by us).
  • Proof of financial resources of at least $600 USD per month, excluding tuition and fees. This can be a bank statement showing a balance of at least $7,000 USD or a statement of monthly bank transfers.
  • Proof of health and liability insurance covering at least one year before entering Curaçao.

Important: If you are traveling to Curaçao through a European airport from a non-EU country, you may also need a transit visa.

Payment of Tuition & Fees

Before your final enrollment, full payment of your tuition, fees, and insurance for the first semester is required. Once we receive the payment, you will receive a Confirmation of Enrollment.
Your Proof of Insurance must be submitted to both the Admission Office and the Immigration Office to maintain your student visa.

Arrival & Orientation

Upon arrival in Curaçao, our Student Services Team will welcome you and assist with housing arrangements. If you opt for third-party housing, ensure you obtain a valid rental agreement.
Your journey begins with an introduction program designed to help you settle in. If you are taking online classes for the first semester, your orientation will occur upon arrival for the second semester.

Ongoing Registration & Graduation

Per Semester Registration

You must register for each academic semester and select your courses. Being enrolled in one semester does not guarantee automatic registration for the next. Tuition and applicable fees must be paid in full for every new semester.

Graduation Process

Once you complete your program, you may apply for graduation. Graduation requests can be submitted online or in person through Student Services.
Upon submission, your eligibility will be reviewed. If any requirements are incomplete, you and your Mentor will be informed immediately. Your mentor will guide you through the next steps to fulfill all necessary conditions.
Upon successful graduation, you will receive a diploma and a diploma supplement. Your diploma will be issued only after the graduation fee is paid in full.
